Humblade

Main content start

Humblade plans to commercialize a miniature ultrasound sensor system for structural monitoring applications. They aim to develop a new class of “wearables for machines” that are embedded in the structures to collect data.  Their initial product will enable online monitoring of wind turbine blades to replace costly, tedious, and ineffective field inspections currently conducted by humans. The application of this device also extends to pipelines, high-speed railway cars, aircraft, and various other advanced structures.
