Chronic wounds affect more than 110 million people worldwide. Delayed healing can create major hardships for patients, especially in developing countries. Healyx Labs is developing a simple, costeffective wound therapy system to accelerate and improve wound healing. Our mission is to make advanced medical therapies accessible to low-income people worldwide. Our product is being prepared for launch in the global market including use in clinical trials and will undergo the medical device regulatory approval process.

Position title

Clinical Affairs Intern


  • Participate in the interpretation of data from current clinical studies and supporting any related publication efforts.
  • Assist in the development of medical and scientific materials, e.g., literature database, medical educational slide decks, user manuals etc., to be used by R&D personnel, product users and company leadership.
  • Participate in clinical trial scoping, including literature searches.
  • Support R&D efforts in new product development and/or interface with external stakeholders.

  • Strong communication skills to be used internally and externally to the company

Required expertise

  • Knowledge of statistics and data analysis
  • Experience conducting literature reviews and searches

Preferred skills/major

  • Working towards degree in life sciences, biomechanical engineering, bioengineering, or premed.
  • Familiarity with clinical literature
  • Graphic design skills are a plus
