SOURCE Climate Solutions
SOURCE Climate Solutions is an early-stage Stanford Climate Venture transforming typical buildings into smart and efficient buildings by providing energy project design tools to building owners and energy service providers. The U.S. residential and commercial buildings consume approximately 45% of primary energy a total of $395 billion in energy expenditures across 124 million U.S. buildings. Decarbonizing the building stock through electrification and demand response will play a key role in our journey to a net zero economy.
Today, millions of building owners and operators are sitting on untapped, profitable energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. For building owners and operators, implementing these projects quickly becomes burdensome and bureaucratic. Meanwhile, high exploration, design, and project management costs combined with poor financial ratings restrict the quality energy service providers of today from scaling across the heterogeneous market.
Through our climate service platform, we automate the design of energy service contracts to enable building owners and operators to tap into these profitable projects and meet their energy and climate goals. Our data analytics engine identifies energy project opportunities and connects building hosts with the right energy provider and financier. Instead of building energy service providers selling energy services, SOURCE turns the energy service industry into explorers and producers of efficiency resources by enabling the building host to outsource the project design and development while receiving the energy, financial, and sustainability benefits.
Our team is on a mission to create the go-to trusted SOURCE for climate solutions by improving access to quality energy projects and unlocking financing for millions of profitable climate projects across the world.
