Seaquence
America's container ports move the majority of U.S. imports, yet terminals and drayage trucking carriers still coordinate through disconnected systems. This results in thousands of trucks idling at gates each day, spewing carcinogens into the communities that surround them.
Seaquence is an AI-powered operations platform that attacks port emissions from two directions: synchronizing terminal appointment systems with live carrier availability to reduce unproductive truck trips and gate queue times, and optimizing how containers are positioned inside the terminal to reduce the unnecessary equipment moves that ripple into delays and additional idle time at the gate.
The near-term path to cleaner port air runs through operational efficiency, not electrification alone. Zero-emission trucks represent less than 2% of the current drayage fleet. Seaquence reduces emissions today while that transition proceeds and becomes the scheduling and planning infrastructure those fleets will depend on tomorrow.
