Regenerative Resources

Main content start

Moringa peregrina is an undomesticated and endangered tree with enormous potential to solve environmental and rural economic problems. We propose to collect seed from the remaining wild groves of this species, start a domestication program in Baja, Mexico, and be the first to produce it at commercial scale in 1400 years. Our innovation is a desert agroforestry anchored by moringa peregrina that improves ecological function, creates rural economies and communities, and provides multiple products in the skincare, haircare, and sustainable foods markets.
