FLOWS Energy
Main content start
Biogas is the methane-rich byproduct of organic matter decomposing in the absence of oxygen. When leaked or flared, biogas is a dangerous pollutant that accelerates climate change. When captured and purified, it can be used to generate carbon-neutral electricity or renewable natural gas. FLOWS uses proprietary, dynamic models of biogas production to design and operate biogas-energy systems. Our technology allows organic waste processing facilities to minimize wasteful venting and flaring of biogas, lower electricity bills, and earn revenue from selling energy back to the grid.
