Verne is developing breakthrough hydrogen storage technology that is revolutionizing the way that hydrogen is stored and distributed. Verne’s cryo-compressed hydrogen technology lowers the cost of hydrogen, making it economical to distribute clean hydrogen to hard-to-abate sectors like off-road equipment and heavy-duty transportation that are responsible for 25% of U.S. emissions.

Verne has made significant strides toward this massive industrial transformation and is conducting demonstration programs for leading industry partners. Verne is backed by Amazon’s Climate Pledge Fund, United Airlines, Caterpillar, NextEra Energy, Trucks VC, Collaborative Fund, and other leading investors, and is supported by the U.S. Department of Energy, ARPA-E, Alberta Innovates, Newlab, Breakthrough Energy Fellows, and others.
