Governments worldwide have been called on to "triple their renewable energy deployment by 2030" in order to limit warming to 1.5℃. US renewable energy needs to be installed 50% faster to attain this goal. However, today up to 50% of US renewable energy projects are being canceled or delayed and most of these cancellations are due to community opposition.
To tackle this challenge, PermitPal is building an AI platform to help renewable energy companies make siting decisions and more effectively engage with community members. We already have partnerships with the largest renewable energy developers in the US and several leading community engagement consultancies.
Responsibilities
- Assist in building partnerships with renewable energy companies and industry stakeholders.
- Develop pitch decks and outreach materials to communicate PermitPal’s value proposition.
- Develop grant and fundraising proposals to help PermitPal secure additional funding.
