Responsibilities

The Role
We’re looking for an Intern to support core operational execution as IronGrid scales its underwriting and compliance functions. You’ll work across SOC 2 compliance, documentation, internal processes, and cross-functional workflows that keep the company running smoothly.

This role is highly hands-on and is a great fit for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and excited to support a growing startup at the earliest stages. You will learn how regulated, high-velocity companies operate. You’ll work closely with founders on projects spanning modeling, security compliance, underwriting operations, vendor management, and general company infrastructure.

You Will

  • Work closely with the founding team to manage day-to-day office operations.
  • Jump in on high-priority tasks as needed in a fast-moving environment.
  • Coordinate cross-functional workflows across engineering, underwriting, and partnerships.
  • Support IronGrid’s SOC 2 compliance efforts.
  • Assist with licensing filings, audit preparation, and compliance efforts.
  • Assist with vendor onboarding, contract tracking, and operational checklists.

Who Should Apply

  • High-energy, action-oriented, and eager to see how high-growth startups operate from the inside.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable.
  • Thrives in a fast-moving, early-stage environment and is excited to help build structured processes from the ground up.

Required Expertise

  • Strong organizational, writing, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage detailed operational tasks with accuracy and follow-through.
  • Comfort working in-person in a fast-paced startup environment.

Preferred Skills/Major

An engineering or technical degree is preferred.
