At CeresAI, we're changing the way farmers manage their crops. We acquire, process, and analyze multispectral aerial imagery of farms, in order to monitor crop variables like plant nutrient and water content. Farmers use our insights to improve crop management practices like fertilizer application, irrigation scheduling, and stress/disease detection.

We are well funded and have a large (and growing) customer base throughout California, the Pacific Northwest, Canada and Australia. Our team of 80+ is growing rapidly with market demand. Due to our continued growth, we are now seeking a GIS and Remote Sensing intern to help us manage our growing acres in many regions and new markets.

Responsibilities

As a GIS and Remote Sensing intern, you will work with a team of GIS experts, scientists and engineers to productize and analyze customer imagery.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include assessing the quality of automatically processed imagery and analyzing multispectral imagery data to identify trends and annotate areas in a field that may require management changes. The detection and communication of these potential problem areas will help guide recommendations made to our growers. At times, re-processing imagery (for example, regenerating orthomosaics, creating and manipulating shapefiles or improving georegistration) will be required.

Over time, you'll be involved in improving the quality of our automated image processing

pipeline, contribute towards research and development of new products, and undertake seasonal analyses from the imagery we acquire.
