Bundle is transforming the future of building materials procurement.

The construction procurement process is complicated, opaque and lacks data, resulting in >98% of projects finishing over time and over budget. At Bundle, we work with developers, builders and construction teams to save 90% of the time spent procuring products and reduce materials costs by 10-20% on every project.

Who and where we are:

  • Founded by Janna and Edison in 2021 with 10+ years of combined experience in the building construction/design industry
  • Launched out of Stanford’s Startup Garage and joined TomKat in Summer 2021
  • Seed-stage with funding from top VCs (>$5M raised)
  • Revenue-generating with >$5M GMV to date
  • Active materials marketplace and procurement workflow software products

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the company founders and business team to support day-to-day operations and develop long-term business strategies
  • Identify potential customer partnerships and grow our sales pipeline
  • Support the team in managing customer accounts and projects
  • Develop business growth opportunities and take ownership in leading/executing projects
  • Brainstorm sustainability initiatives/features to enable carbon tracking and reduce construction waste
  • Participate in all relevant business and product strategy meetings in-person or remotely
  • Be online and available during normal business hours Monday through Friday, including optionally working in-person with the team in SF/Oakland at least once per week
  • Be present and eager to learn throughout the duration of the internship

Who Should Apply

We are seeking a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for solving real-world problems. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and will have the chance to work closely with the founders to learn about what it takes to build an early-stage, venture-backed startup.

Required Expertise

  • Attention to detail, organized, and self-sufficient
  • Team oriented personality, bias to action, and excellent communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and proactive “can-do” attitude
  • Knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Passionate about the construction/building materials environment and solving real-world problems
  • Fluent in English

Preferred Skills/Majors

  • Preferred applicants have a focus in Business, Finance, Economics, or Construction/Engineering (prior experience with construction not necessary, but helpful)
  • We are focused on building a diverse and inclusive team - if you're excited about this role, but do not meet 100% of the qualifications listed above, we still encourage you to apply
