Responsibilities
- Hands-on synthesis and formulation of materials for electrolytes
- Characterization of electrochemical performance and physical and chemical properties of materials
- Co-design experiments with a mentor and communicate results to the team
Who Should Apply
Juniors or seniors (graduating seniors eligible)
Required Expertise
- Hands-on experience safely working on wet chemistry in a research lab or industrial setting
- Basic data plotting and analysis using excel, python, or other tools
Preferred Skills/Majors
- Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related fields
- Hands-on experience in one or more of these areas is beneficial but not required
- 3 months or 6 month internships
- Working in a glovebox
- Polymer chemistry
- Characterization of mechanical properties
- Electrochemical sample preparation and measurement
- Battery materials
