Responsibilities

  • Electrolyte formulation: assist in the design and preparation of electrolyte formulations for different battery chemistries
  • Testing & analysis: perform electrolyte characterization, including ionic conductivity, viscosity, moisture and HF content. Conduct electrochemical evaluation of electrolytes in battery cells under various conditions
  • Data collection & reporting: collect and analyze the experimental data to identify trends and insights. Prepare detailed reports and present findings to the team
  • Follow all laboratory safety protocols and ensure proper handling of chemicals and equipment

Who Should Apply

Senior or recent graduate with experience working in a research laboratory

Required Expertise

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or master’s in chemistry, Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field
  • Hands-on experience in a lab setting, including chemical handling and preparation
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

Nice to Have:

  • Previous experience in battery related fields and familiar with some characterization techniques (e.g., EIS, CV, coin cell preparation)
  • Understanding of electrochemistry, battery fundamentals, and electrolyte materials
  • Experience with glovebox operations and handling moisture sensitive materials
