In 2024, two hurricanes resulted in over $100 billion in damages in the United States – Airys is committed to creating a more climate-resilient future. To start, we are building a one-stop-shop soware to help finance resilient infrastructure across the United States. We dream to untangle complex funding processes by 1) providing local governments with a central hub for infrastructure & disaster risk data, 2) using LLMs to recommend projects to the best sources of funding (from federal grants to state-level programs), and 3) automating federal funding application and management processes.

Responsibilities
- Full-Stack Development & Data Integration – design and develop front-end and back-end solutions, manage disparate datasets, and build scalable data pipelines.
- AI/LLM Implementation – research, test, and integrate large language models (LLMs) to enhance software capabilities and drive innovation.
- Project Leadership & Collaboration – Take ownership of key projects, collaborate with technical and nontechnical co-founders, and contribute to product roadmaps with potential for leadership opportunities.
Required expertise
- Prior experience building a web app from scratch (or mostly from scratch) OR Full-stack or front-end experience at a tech company
- Experience working with large language models (LLMs)
