  • Work with our team and your mentor on our customer facing application or internal tools
  • Be a part of sprint planning, standups, and check-ins with the Product team
  • Write well-tested and organized code, with an emphasis on maintainability
  • Test your features to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
  • Learn to build features and applications for our customers and internal users
  • Write technical documentation for your features

Who Should Apply

Engineering students with an interest in sustainability, agriculture, and working with map data with some experience coding frontend or backend applications.

Required Expertise

  • Academic or internship experience with Javascript, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Vue, Vuetify, React) OR academic or internship experience with Python
  • Academic or internship experience using Github
  • Interest in learning about frontend or backend development for web or mobile applications

Preferred Skills/Majors

  • Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or similar major
  • Experience working with geospatial data
  • Some academic or internship experience using Jira and Confluence
  • Familiarity with PostgresSQL or other relational databases
  • Familiarity with libraries such as D3.js, C3.js, turf.js or MapboxGL
  • Familiarity with Django and APIs
  • Interest in learning how to deploy web and mobile applications
