Aeromutable is committed to working with the trucking industry to design and build aerodynamic enhancement systems that increase vehicle performance, safety, and efficiency. Aeromutable has developed a non-intrusive add-on system that, through the use of air injection, significantly improves aerodynamic performance and reduces fuel consumption and carbon emissions—allowing the trucking industry to increase profitability while reducing its carbon footprint.
Develop control system with a GUI. Work on a team to assemble, mount, and validate the functionality of the Aeromutable device attached to a full-size Class-8 semi trailer during On-Track testing. Contribute towards the experimental design and execution of full-scale aerodynamic test in collaboration with Argonne engineers.
Who Should Apply
Mechanical, electrical, or aerospace engineering student with hands-on experience in hardware and software integration who enjoys learning new things quickly, working independently and in teams, problem-solving, and being flexible.
Knowledge of controls and programming experience (e.g. C , C, Python, LabView, etc). Experimental experience in a lab or on a project.
Robotics experience. Hands-on assembly experience with power and hand tools.
