Aeromutable is committed to working with the trucking industry to design and build aerodynamic enhancement systems that increase vehicle performance, safety, and efficiency. Aeromutable has developed a non-intrusive add-on system that, through the use of air injection, significantly improves aerodynamic performance and reduces fuel consumption and carbon emissions—allowing the trucking industry to increase profitability while reducing its carbon footprint.

Responsibilities

Work on a team to assemble, mount, and validate the functionality of the Aeromutable device attached to a full-size Class-8 semi-trailer for On-Road testing. Contribute towards the experimental design and execution of full-scale aerodynamic tests in collaboration with trucking companies. Opportunities to design, model, and manufacture test structures.

Who Should Apply

Mechanical, electrical, or aerospace engineering student with hands-on experience in hardware and software integration who enjoy learning new things quickly, working independently and in teams, problem-solving, and being flexible.

Required Expertise

Knowledge of controls and programming experience (e.g. C++, C, Python, LabView, etc). Familiarity with Raspberry Pi or Arduino. Experimental experience in a lab or on a project.
